Aromatherapy Base Oils are all 100ml bottles and are suitable for diluting aromatic essential oils before applying them to the skin. Without a base oil aromatic essential oils are too strong so a base is a must. The base oils are classed as 'fixed' oils because they do not evaporate, base oils are also known as carrier oils and vegetable oils. Base oils are usually derived from nuts and seeds. Choosing a carrier oil is exactly the same as choosing an essential oil- you choose one with the properties that you require for your particular needs.
To apply add 1 drop of pure essential oil to every 5mls of base oil. For facial treatment don't apply on the delicate under eye area. Gently work the oil into the skin until it has all been absorbed, and your skin will be left feeling soft and silky smooth.
