Heat Tolerance Most animals have different heat tolerances and you will need to experiment with the bed to see what your pet likes best. Always start on the low setting only with no extra lining inside the bed other than the liner that comes with the bed. If your animal finds the bed a bit warm, add an additional liner about the same weight as a regular bath towel. This will lower the surface temperature of the bed making it suit your pet but will not alter the therapeutic effect of the bed. You will soon become aware of your pet’s preference. How to use Simply plug the bed into any 240 volt outlet and turn the bed on the Low setting. That is all you have to do. The pet bed uses very little power and will cost around 15 pence on the low setting for a 24 hour period. Thermotex pet beds are not to be used on the High setting. The low setting provides the best therapeutic benefit. It may take your pet a couple of days to get used to using the new therapeutic pet bed. This is normal. Thermotex™ Pet Beds have a Velcro opening for easy heat panel removal prior to washing the complete bed. THE THERMOTEX PET RANGE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANIMALS WHO ARE PRONE TO CHEW CABLES.
