How It Works to remove limescale

The H2Flow acts on salts suspended in the domestic water supply which helps prevent the build up of limescale. A 6mm deposit of limescale in the homes water supply can add 40% to the cost of heating and also prolongs the life of pipes and appliances.

Electronic limescale inhibitors produce a pulsed electro magnetic field in the pipes to soften and loosen the scale. The H2Flow will gradually descale a kettle through the use of magnetised water, however a process which will take weeks or months to erode the scale completely. You can speed the process considerably by leaving fresh water from the tap in the kettle overnight. Boiling magnetically treated water will destroy the effects, so use only fresh unboiled water to leave overnight. Once your kettle is descaled, make a habit of leaving fresh water in the kettle overnight, and you'll never need to chemically descale your kettle again!
