Organic Cold Pressed Flax Seed Oil is an Essential food supplement
Flax seed (also called linseed) has been used traditionally as a rich source of dietary fibre and a combination of Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids, as well as plant nutrients such as phytoestrogens.
The Omega-3 content in flaxseed is more than double the quantity in fish oils and is suitable for vegetarians as well as all people of different ages.
Our Flax Oil is totally 100% pure oil and contains no additives or preservatives and is solvent free.
Each 5ml dose provides:
- Organic Flaxseed Oil 4.65g
- Of which Alpha-linolenic acid 2.558g
- Linoleic acid 0.691g
- Oleic acid 0.983g
- Palmitic acid 0.235g
- Stearic acid 0.151g
The finest oils are those that are pressed at low temperatures, where UV light and oxygen are excluded. The organic flaxseeds are pressed at a very cold temperature, using a cold processing method which does not require the use of solvents. Pressing oils at higher temperatures reduces the availability and efficacy of the delicate Omega 3 oils. It is very important that flax seed oils are stored correctly, ideally in a refrigerator. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
