Piezo ionisers produce ions by electric and mechanics by applying a Piezo Ceramic Transformer as the core part. They have a high transfer rate of 95% and thus produce more ions, have a longer life, works stably, will not short circuit and produce no EMI (electro magnetic emission). Many other ionisers produce ions by electric or magnetic. The core of these is a wire rolled transformer. These are more prone to short circuit, produce high EMI and less ions.
