Himalayan salt crystal lamps are made from salt crystal rocks formed 100's of millions of years ago in the foothills of the Himalayas. The salt crystal lamps are carefully crafted by hand to retain the unique, beautiful natural shape of the rock. The crystal is said to naturally ionise the air and the glow beautifies any room. Its hydroscopic properties it is said may help reduce airborne pollutants thus helping asthma and allergy sufferers.
They are suitable for large rooms in a home, large bedroom and office and all come complete with light fitting and bulb ready to use.
The Xlarge lamp is 12-15kg in weight and approx 35-40cm in height. Suitable for a room of 30 square metres +12-15kg.
Himalayan salt lamps come complete with light fittings and one 25W bulb.

Our lamps are carefully sought and no child labour has been used in producing them. They are of the best in colour, quality and shape that we have found. Please note you are buying from a supplier where the plugs and cable are EU tested and the lamps are of highest quality. Beware of cheap and illegal imitations. However please expect fissures and irregularities to be naturally present in the crystal. Pictures are for illustration purposes only. Our salt lamps are hand mined and hand crafted.
Himalayan salt lamps and tea lights are hygroscopic, they draw in moisture from the air due to their mineral make up and should not be situated in any place subject to high humidity or water. Should the lamp become wet, gentle warming will re-dry the salt crystals to their normal state. Switching on the bulb or lighting the candle should be sufficient but care must be taken to ensure that the electric fittings are completely dry. It is suggested to use the lamp more often than not to avoid this happening.
