Essential Minerals Support

LAST ONE LEFT BEST USE BY AUGUST 4TH 2109

Superior form of magnesium supplementation that has been designed for potentially maximum absorption and tolerance with reduced laxative action.

Ultra Magnesium is a magnesium resuscitation beverage including malic acid, glutamine, taurine and L-carnitine for optimising mitochrondrial energy metabolism. Oral magnesium supplementation has often been complicated by side effects of poor gastrointestinal tolerance, including malabsorption and diarrhoea.

Ultra Magnesium has been produced to replace our current magnesium supplement, Ultra Muscleze. Due to continual price increases from the supplier (Ultramuscleze nearly doubling in price in less than 3 years) we have found a cheaper alternative.

Ultra Magnesium has been put together by world renowned, Australian Naturopath and Herbalist, Glen Gillard and is said to be “Ultra Muscleze with more kick”.

The most advanced bioactive magnesium formula, helping to boost muscle energy, stamina and recovery and preventing restlessness and cramps. Packs a whopping 242 mg of elemental magnesium per serving.

Ultra Magnesium provides the total nutrition for activating tired muscles by helping boost glucose transport into the cell for energy production and storage. Magnesium is required by every cell in the body to produce ATP, our energy currency of the cell.

150g Tub. Recommended Usage: 1 teaspoon daily

Uses of Magnesium:

Cardiovascular: to prevent atherosclerosis (Maier JA. 2003), myocardial infarction (Schechter M. 2003), reduce high blood pressure (Kendler 1997), prevent strokes (Suter PM. 1999), coronary artery spasm & angina (Teregawar H. 2000), hyperlipidemia & triglyceride levels (Fox C. 2001), Mitral valve prolapse syndrome (Kloss J, 1997)

Cardiac arrhythmia: heart failure from defibrillation, tacchycardia (Kendler 1997)

Lung function: to halt acute asthma attacks (Silverman RA 2002), acute (Silverman RA. 2002) & exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (Skorodin MS. 1995)

Diabetes: Modulating insulin-mediated glucose uptake and vascular tone (Barbagallo M, 2003) Enhanced oxidative glucose metabolism, Improved serum glucose levels (Paolisso 1992)

Glaucoma: (Head KA 2001), to improve peripheral circulation and visual field (Gaspar AZ 1995)

Fatigue: to improve sleep, restore normal energy levels, Chronic fatigue, Fibromyalgia, (Durlach J, 2002) & M.E (terrific results with M.E clients on a combination of Prime Directive, Green Barley and Ultra Muscleze).

Mental health: panic disorder (Taborska V. 1995) anxiety, depression, psychoemotional status ( Ezhov AV. 2002)

Patients on Oral Contraceptive Pill: OCPs reduce serum magnesium levels (Seelig 1993), interfere with B2 metabolism (Rozovski 1982), deplete vitamin B6 levels (Bermond 1982), can lower serum B9 levels and reduce folate stores in the body (Li 1995), reduce plasma, leukocyte, and platelet ascorbic acid levels (Webb 1980), reduce serum zinc levels (Tyrer 1984).

Loop diuretics: Inhibit magnesium absorption & promote urinary loss of this electrolyte (Quamme 1997), rate of phosphorus elimination doubled (Carriere & Dandavino 1976), increase potassium excretion (Rastogi 1985). Significant urinary losses of B3 (Rieck et al. 1999)

Corticosteriods: increase renal calcium excretion & decrease intestinal calcium absorption (Lems 1998), reduce magnesium levels in serum and bone (Atkinson 1998), enhance potassium excretion (Stanton 1985), alter zinc metabolism and can cause depletion (Fontaine 1991)
